New single released from DREAM SEQUENCE (Michael Bailey) called 'NEVER BE THE SAME'
2 versions have been set free, a vocal version (vocal edit - done on 4/3/2016) and a instrumental....
This is wicked, both tracks sound amazing with real advancements in drum programming (compared to previous work), lush synths and edgy melodic guitars. The vocal version has this lucid metallic sound reminding the listener that things were never going to be the same again.

MESSAGE FROM MICHAEL (DREAM SEQUENCE)
"First of all, I would like to thank all of you (loyal listeners) for staying patient, its been awhile.. about 5-6 months?? but i really wanted to put some real effort in getting things sounding right.
Spent 2-3 weeks in tweaking the drums to get a sound that i liked.
Also a new computer added to the scheme of things, transferring all the sounds, soft synths, recording software, mastering software added to the wait. (now using a mix of laptop and desktop for various editing).
I also wanted to have a song that changed sounds through each verse so your not listening to the same sound over and over... Special mention to my son Benjamin (12) for the synths in the 2nd verse.
I also wanted to put some nice sounding guitars into the song which i think makes the track that little bit more edgy.
The vocals, ahhh... i had so many ideas for vocals then BAM, hit with a nasty man cold (worse than a normal cold). I could have waited till it went away (still got it) but with my crap health the way it is, it would have been a few more weeks. I thought about using a vocoder but im happy with the lyrics. I think it puts a more darker edge to the song...Yes, could have been better so thats why ive added the instrumental version, for those who think the vocal version sucks.
(UPDATE) And now the vocals are better with the release of the Vocal Edit version and yes, i used a little vocoder with the lyrics and yes, I've still got this bloody cold.. Mancold that is...
The lyrics were written about 2 years ago, when i was going through a hard time (we've all been there) and was remembering how things could have been different but no matter how hard you try, it just didn't work out and so, things will never be the same again.
That as they say is life.
